Professional development and Training courses


The AERA Professional Development and Training Committee is pleased to offer an extensive program of courses for the 2019 AERA Annual Meeting in Toronto! 

The courses focus on skill development in implementing statistical techniques, communicating and writing research, qualitative research methods, other research capacity building areas. Designed to reach participants at multiple skill levels, the courses are appropriate for graduate students, early career scholars, and other researchers who seek to increase their knowledge and enhance research skills.​

Course Dates: 
  • The extended courses are held on Thursday, April 4, or on Friday, April 5.
  • The mini courses will occur Saturday through Monday, April 6–8.
 
Registration:
You must be registered for the Annual Meeting in order to purchase tickets to attend courses. Potential participants can register for professional development and training courses by logging into and updating their 2019 AERA Annual Meeting registration.
 
Materials: 
Course participants should bring a laptop with any software suggested or specified in the course description.
